About Nate

Nathaniel M. Kirkland
Nathaniel “Nate” Malachi Kirkland, the youngest of his mother’s eight children, was born on December 27, 1988, to the late Anita Patricia Adams. Nate was a proud graduate of the Two Hundred Sixty Sixth Class of Central High School in June of 2007. At Central, Nate served as the producer of the school’s television station (“CBN”), was president of the audio/visual club, and was even named Prom King.


Nate later attended Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania where he developed a passion to get involved in the community. Nate was an active student on campus, founding Dickinson’s Multimedia Club, serving as a Resident Advisor, and participating as a Bonner Leader. At Dickinson, Nate majored in English and was a pre-law student and completed a summer externship program with Reed Smith law firm, a National Top 100 firm.

Nate was known as an inspiration to all. Nate’s enthusiasm for life was just like his smile: contagious. Nate was unselfish, caring, and passionate in all of his endeavors. At his young age, Nate was already an accomplished producer, director, and poet by anyone’s standards having completed many poems, screenplays, short films, and documentaries.
